HUG The Money Doctor!

About Frances Rahaim, Ph.D.

Frances, author of “Debt or Alive”, has devoted more than 30 years to educating clients about money, and how to improve their relationship with it.

A Registered Investment Advisor or Independent Broker since age 23 Dr. Rahaim founded PowerDownDebt, Inc.™ in 2008,  HUG Your Student Debt, Inc.,™ in 2018 and HUG Your Money™ in 2020.

A problem-solver at heart, Frances is determined to dispel the stigma surrounding debt and money issues, and alleviate stress associated with the same.

With a doctorate in Finance, Rahaim strongly encourages experiential learning and enjoys empowering people in part by translating elusive financial concepts to accessible language. Her talent for understanding the human condition as it relates to money, deciphering complex situations, and finding creative resolutions has earned her the moniker of “Solutionizer.” Nowhere is this more evident than HUG Your Money -- the most comprehensive, affordable, credit-savvy debt-management and financial coaching program available anywhere.

You might say Dr. Rahaim, aka “The Money Doctor”, sees things through a wider lens than many other financial professionals, unusually targeting debt as a primary (yet virtually ignored) threat to a comfortable retirement. Accordingly, HUG Your Money helps Members become debt-free, improve credit, budget wisely, build savings, and rejuvenate their retirement dreams.

Utilizing her proprietary software and coaching system, Dr. Rahaim and her HUG team help motivate and support Members, improve vital money management skills and achieve their short and long-term financial goals.

To date ‘The Money Doctor’s’ coaching and software has helped thousands of loyal followers pay for college, retire comfortably, gain a sense of control over their finances, save millions (if not billions) of dollars in debt payments, gain a sense of control over their finances and enjoy the peace of mind we all deserve.

"We cannot ignore debt and focus solely on building wealth! Retiring ALL debt early — not just credit card debt — improves lifestyle and has a dramatic, positive effect on retirement planning!"
